Breakfast Cook

Location: The Cozy Café + Bar – Downtown Kelowna, BC

Job Type: Part-Time / Permanent

Pay: $20–$22 per hour (depending on experience)

About Us The Cozy Café + Bar is a busy, locally owned breakfast and brunch restaurant in downtown West Kelowna. We are passionate about serving fresh, high-quality food and creating an exceptional experience for every guest. We're looking for an experienced Breakfast Cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in producing consistently great food.

Responsibilities

- Prepare breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Set up and stock stations before each shift.
- Ensure all food is cooked, plated, and presented consistently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Monitor food quality and minimize waste.
- Restock ingredients and assist with daily prep.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team.
- Assist with cleaning duties and kitchen closing tasks as required.

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant.




- Experience preparing eggs, omelettes, benedicts, pancakes, waffles, skillets, and other breakfast dishes.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday ( Part time) 9:30 am to 1 pm and 2 full shifts from 7 am to 3 pm
- Day shifts only
- Flexible scheduling
