We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Line Cooks / Prep Cooks to join the Mr. Noodle Chen team.

Our restaurant specializes in authentic Lanzhou beef noodles and Northwest Chinese dishes. As part of the kitchen team, you will help prepare and cook food according to restaurant standards while maintaining quality, cleanliness, efficiency, and food safety.

Responsibilities

- Prepare meats, soup, vegetables, sauces, garnishes, and other ingredients according to recipes and prep standards.
- Cook and assemble assigned menu items accurately and efficiently.
- Follow standardized recipes, portion sizes, plating, and food-quality standards.
- Assist with soups, appetizers, grilled items, garnishes, and other kitchen stations as trained.
- Follow proper food storage, labeling, temperature control, and sanitation procedures.
- Keep workstations, equipment, utensils, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to support smooth service.
- Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and assigned prep duties.
- Use kitchen equipment safely and report shortages, hazards,



or equipment issues to a supervisor.

Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food-preparation experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
- Able to work efficiently in a quick-paced kitchen environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, food quality, and consistency.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Able to follow recipes, instructions, and restaurant procedures.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies as needed.
- FoodSafe certification is an asset.
- Mandarin or Cantonese communication skills are an asset.

Pay: $18.25-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
