We at Thai Kitchen are looking for hard working and motivated individuals to join our team. We strive to provide our community with consistent and high quality Thai food, and we will provide the training needed to get you up to speed and working alongside our hard working team of cooks and dishwashers.
Responsibilities and duties will include:
- Preparation of raw ingredients to be used during service
- Storage and proper labeling of prepped meat and veggies
- Preparation of hot and cold menu items
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization
- Working alongside a team of individuals in a fast paced environment
- Working under time constraints
- Clearly communicating with team members throughout shift
- Daily cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
Qualifications:
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
- WHMIS
- ***we can provide the training for the certificates above if required
Job Types: Part time, Permanent Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Experience
- cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- restaurant: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
