About the role Transam Carriers runs 120+ trucks out of Concord, Ontario — cross-border LTL and truckload, our own customs desk and cross-dock. What you would own - One plan for the whole fleet: where every truck is, when it frees up, and what it does next - Matching capacity across desks instead of within them — the moves that no single desk can see - Reducing empty miles and deadhead between regions, and being able to prove it - Pre-planning the next move before a truck delivers, rather than after - Flagging where we are short of capacity and where we are long, early enough for sales to act on it What we are looking for - You have planned or dispatched for a fleet and can think in terms of the truck's whole week, not the next load - You can hold a plan in your head across regions and still change it when the day does - You are numbers-driven — empty miles, revenue per truck per day,
utilisation are the language of this job - Cross-border experience is a strong advantage: border timing changes what is possible - You can work with dispatchers rather than over them.
