Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for one of our clients in Etobicoke, ON. Our client operates in the food manufacturing industry and is looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Position: Maintenance Technician

Work Location: Etobicoke, ON M9B 3S3

Pay Rate: $35.00/hour

Shift: 6:00 AM start

Duration: 4-week placement with the possibility of permanent employment

Industry: Food Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Identify equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Assist with installation, setup, and modification of machinery and production equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Follow all workplace health and safety, food safety, and company procedures.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and provide timely technical support to the production team.
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and safe maintenance work area.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a food manufacturing or production workplace.
- Solid mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and industrial equipment is an asset.
- Ability to diagnose equipment problems and perform repairs efficiently.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
