We are currently looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This role involves general property maintenance, repairs, and unit turnover work across multiple residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and takes pride in completing work properly and efficiently.

This position offers flexible scheduling and is best suited for someone who can manage their time well and work independently.

You will be responsible for completing maintenance tasks, responding to work orders, and helping ensure our properties are well maintained and move-in ready.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete general maintenance and repair tasks (e.g. bathroom fans, doors, drywall repairs, and carpentry work)
- Respond to and complete work orders in a timely manner
- Document completed work, materials used, and record expenses per job
- Assist with preparing vacant suites for new tenants (cleaning, painting, repairs, etc.)
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in an organized condition
- Communicate with property management staff, tenants, and contractors as required
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete projects and daily tasks

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent




- Previous experience in maintenance, property maintenance, construction, or general repairs preferred
- Basic understanding of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) considered an asset
- Experience with Jobber or similar service software is an asset
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively
- Solid attention to detail and good time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions
- Physically capable of performing manual labour tasks
