Reporting to the Senior Director, Consolidation, the primary role of the Manager, Accounting – SG&A; is to provide Accounting leadership by supporting the stakeholders of the organization and his own accounting team. This role is specific to the accounting of all SG&A; expenses, including Compensation and Benefits (Salaries, Benefits, Utilities, Facilities, IT Maintenance, Prepaid Expenses, Financial Services, Fleet, Closing Costs, Charitable Contributions, Store Environment/Displays, Marketing, and others) and covers all Business streams (Stores, Distribution Centres, Administrative Functions).

Your role

- Lead a team of Analysts charged with ensuring accounting best practices are implemented and followed, financial results are recorded accurately,



timely, and complete
- Oversee the period financial closing, reporting, and analysis
- Analyze financial results to ensure amounts are properly recorded and reported, ensuring proper performance drivers have been communicated with variance explanations
- Identify the company’s initiatives that may have accounting implications on SG&A; and coordinates with applicable business partners to provide financial guidance, and ensure productive and accurate accounting processes and controls are implemented
- Analyze accounting problems to identify the appropriate course of action
- Participate actively in the annual budget and periodic forecasting process
- Lead external audit processes related to the accounting function under their responsibility

The qualifications we are looking for :

- Bachelor’s degree in administration, finance, or accounting
- CPA designation
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in an accounting or financial analysis role
- A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience with direct report responsibility
- Experience with financial systems such as TM1, Oracle Cloud et Alteryx (an asset)
- Team player
- Self-motivated, results-oriented with a focus on delivering high quality work




- Very strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and multi-stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results with tight deadlines
- Advanced skills with Excel
