Annual salary: $ 131,100.00 - 165,800.00

What you'll do The Manager, IT Vendor Management Office is accountable for the performance, governance, and integration of technology services across BC Hydro’s multi-supplier environment, including managed services, strategic suppliers, software agreements, and software asset management.

This role provides a single point of accountability for supplier performance, service outcomes, contract governance, and software value realization, ensuring technology services are delivered consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with business priorities.

The Manager Supports the integration of Vendor Management, Service Management, and Software Asset Management into a unified operating model focused on service excellence, supplier accountability, and optimized software lifecycle management.

Key Accountabilities

Service, Supplier & Software Governance

- Lead and continuously improve BC Hydro's Service integration and Management framework.
- Establish governance across internal technology teams,



managed service providers, software vendors, and strategic

partners.
- Define and maintain clear service ownership, accountability models, escalation procedures, and operational interfaces.
- Oversee governance of key software agreements, including renewal readiness, compliance obligations, value tracking,

and alignment with enterprise software standards.
- Provide leadership to Software Asset Management, ensuring effective lifecycle management, entitlement oversight, usage

optimization, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure end-to-end service delivery across multiple providers is seamless and transparent to the business.

Supplier Management & Performance
- Provide strategic oversight of managed service providers, technology suppliers, and outsourced service partners.
- Manage supplier performance, scorecards, KPIs, SLAs, OLAs, and service improvement plans.
- Lead executive governance reviews and operational performance meetings.
- Foster strategic supplier relationships that promote innovation, service improvements, risk management, and value

realization.
- Partner with Procurement, Legal, Technology leadership, and Software Asset Management on sourcing strategies,

contract governance, software renewals, and supplier obligations.

What you bring

- 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in IT service management, supplier management, managed services,

software contract governance, or software asset management.
- Experience operating within complex multi-supplier technology environments.
- Demonstrated success leading service integration, supplier governance, and managed services providers.
- Experience managing strategic technology vendors and outsourced service contracts.




- Experience overseeing enterprise software agreements, renewals, entitlement management, compliance obligations, and

software value optimization.
- Strong understanding of SLA management, KPI development, service reporting, and operational governance.
- Experience working within a large, regulated organization is preferred.
