WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Meat Cutter to join our Food Centre located at 2132 Keating X Rd, Saanichton, BC. This is a full-time position offering a range of 32 - 40 hours per week.

Our ideal candidate is:

- Available to work any day of the week, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Friendly, helpful, and customer-focused
- Knowledgeable in meat cutting, product quality, food safety, and merchandising standards
- Comfortable sharing knowledge and supporting the development of less experienced team members
- Able to work independently while contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
- Able to stand for long periods and frequently lift, push and pull up to 80 lbs

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Cut, trim, and prepare meat products for display and sale
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service
- Ensure products are fresh, safe, and properly rotated




- Help manage inventory and reduce waste
- Maintain displays, signage, and department presentation
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
- Support and coach new team members when needed
- Promote membership and department promotions
- Keep the department clean, safe, and customer-readys
