This role involves packaging and preparing meat products for shipment in a refrigerated production environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Package and wrap meat products according to company standards
- Label and prepare products for shipping and distribution
- Remove filled containers from conveyor lines and place into boxes or cartons
- Feed packaging materials into machines when required
- Ensure packaging quality and product accuracy
- Inspect products for quality or packaging defects
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and production areas
- Assist machine operators and production staff as needed
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
- Perform general labour duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Comfortable working with chicken, beef, and pork products
- Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated setting
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Able to stand for extended periods
