Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Teacher or R.ECE specializing in Toddler and Early Childhood Education to join our vibrant educational community. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes independence, curiosity, and a love for learning among young children. Your expertise in Montessori principles will guide your interactions with children, helping them develop essential skills while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Duties
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate Montessori activities tailored to toddlers’ needs, encouraging exploration and independence.
- Observe and assess each child's progress, documenting developmental milestones and adjusting lesson plans accordingly.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that aligns with Montessori standards and promotes active learning.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support each child's individual growth and address any special educational needs.
- Incorporate bilingual instruction in English and French to enhance language development and cultural awareness among young learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements that integrate childcare best practices and special education strategies.
- Utilize computer skills for record-keeping,
lesson planning, and communicating with families to ensure transparency and engagement.
Skills
- Proficiency in English; bilingual fluency in French is highly desirable to support diverse language learners.
- Solid background in early childhood education, with experience working with children in Montessori or similar settings.
- Knowledge of childcare principles, child development stages, and special education techniques for children with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively.
- Demonstrated classroom management abilities coupled with organizational skills to maintain an efficient learning environment.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred to foster inclusive learning experiences.
- Competence in computer operation for documentation, lesson planning, and parent communication purposes.
- Leadership qualities paired with time management skills to oversee classroom activities confidently while supporting team collaboration.
