Job Title: Neo4j Developer

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Neo4j Developer to join our team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Neo4j graph databases, as well as integrating them into enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of graph databases, Cypher query language, and experience in developing highly scalable database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop graph database models using Neo4j.
- Write, optimize, and execute Cypher queries to manipulate and query data.
- Integrate Neo4j with backend services and applications.
- Develop database schemas and structures to meet project requirements.
- Monitor and improve database performance, including query optimization.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and software developers to ensure the seamless integration of Neo4j.
- Participate in troubleshooting and debugging of database-related issues.
- Provide documentation, technical specifications, and best practices for database management.
- Work with the project team to deliver solutions within time and scope constraints.





Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with Neo4j or other graph databases.
- Proficiency in Cypher Query Language (CQL).
- Experience in database design, development, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with backend technologies and their integration with graph databases (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and graph theory.
- Experience with large-scale data management and processing.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases and experience working in big data environments.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Neo4j database administration and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with Graph Data Science (GDS) libraries.
- Familiarity with APOC procedures and graph algorithms.
- Prior experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
