- Effectuer des inspections régulières des bâtiments et de l’équipement; signaler les réparations ou travaux nécessaires au superviseur des opérations ou gestionnaire de la propriété.
- Effectuer des réparations et tâches d’entretien de base, telles que la réparation de plomberie, systèmes intérieurs, la réinitialisation de disjoncteurs, le remplacement d’ampoules et les changements de serrures
- Réaliser l’entretien préventif et les inspections réglementaires, tel que les équipement sécurité incendie, groupe électrogène, et autres
- S’assurer que les services contractuels sont exécutés selon les normes de performance et contribuent à un environnement propre et sécuritaire.
- Utiliser le système de gestion des bâtiments (Angus Anywhere ou autres) pour répondre rapidement aux demandes de service des locataires et aux tâches d’entretien préventif.
- Effectuer des inspections hebdomadaires des unités vacantes et signaler toute condition inhabituelle.
- Aider à donner accès aux entrepreneurs et coordonner les visites de site au besoin.
- Maintenir l’inventaire des outils, de l’équipement et des fournitures; formuler des recommandations au gestionnaire immobilier.
- Superviser les entrepreneurs externes afin de s’assurer que les travaux sont réalisés conformément aux contrats ou bons de commande.
- Effectuer les lectures régulières des compteurs de services publics. This position is for a Building Operator based in Montreal About the role - Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all common areas, including entrances, walkways, and facilities (e.g., shoveling, cleaning.




- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment; report required maintenance or repairs to the Operations Supervisor or Property Manager.
- Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks, such as plumbing, interior systems (ceiling tiles, walls) breaker resets, light replacements, and lock changes.
- Perform preventive maintenance and regulatory inspection, such as, but not limited to, Fire and Life & safety equipments, generators, etc.
- Ensure contracted property services meet performance standards and contribute to a safe and clean environment.
- Use the Building Management Software System (Angus Anywhere or other) to respond promptly to tenant work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Conduct weekly inspections of vacant units and report any unusual conditions.
- Assist with contractor access to properties and coordinate site tours as needed.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies; provide recommendations to the Property Manager.
- Oversee third-party contractors to ensure work is completed in accordance with contracts or purchase orders.
- Complete regular utility meter readings. What you’ll bring - BES 1&2, 4th/5th class power engineering certificate is strongly desired
- Experience in general building maintenance, basic repairs, and systems operations.
- Hands-on experience with residential repair work.
- Experience working with or supervising contractors is an asset.
- Familiarity with Angus Anywhere or similar Building Management Systems is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety procedures (e.g., WHMIS, Lockout/Tagout, fall protection, mold remediation) is an advantage.
- Flexible availability, including participation in on-call coverage.
- Physical ability to walk the property throughout the day and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Strong service orientation and a commitment to maintaining high property standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Robust organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to fostering a respectful, supportive workplace culture
- Must be bilingual (French/English)
