Shenn Way
House is for men who perpetuate violence and harm, who recognize it, and who want to change. This program provides safe, temporary housing and wraparound supports that enables men to engage in therapeutic interventions and take responsibility for their behaviour.
Overnight Case
Workers provide ongoing day to day support to the participants residing at Shenn Way House. Through the use of positive role modeling and effective communication skills, the Overnight Case Worker assists participants in taking responsibility for their behavior and living protected and meaningful lives.
Ongoing monitoring of administrative files to ensure they are kept complete and up to date Maintain accurate and timely data collection, data entry and completion of any program assessments and surveys as directed Completion of referral and intake documentation Adapt services to meet the needs of diverse populations as per program policy Deliver services in accordance with program and agency policy and procedures Community Engagement Maintain positive relationships with community members (neighbors, visitors, etc) and report significant challenges/incidents to supervisor immediately Diploma or degree in a related human services field Strong communication and relationship building skills Able to work consistent awake overnight shifts Criminal record check and child intervention check General computer knowledge (Microsoft word, outlook, etc) A criminal record will not disqualify you from employment with us; The hours of work are 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 40 hours per week, with some evening, day, and weekend availability Staff team building and appreciation days Competitive health, dental and RRSP benefits Building Safe, Inclusive Communities. enCompass is committed to achieving a diverse workforce and strongly encourages applications from people of Indigenous heritage, and people from culturally diverse backgrounds. #
