VMAC is looking for a Packager to join our Supply Chain team. The Packager plays an significant role in ensuring VMAC finished products are accurately inspected, prepared, packaged, and ready for shipment. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail, organization, and teamwork are essential.

The successful candidate takes pride in producing quality work, follows established processes, and understands the importance of ensuring our products leave VMAC complete, accurate, and properly packaged.

As Packager you will: Perform final inspections of components, kits, assemblies, and finished products prior to shipment or inventory.

Build and prepare kits and finished products in accordance with Bills of Materials, work instructions, and established procedures.

Verify part numbers, quantities, components, and required documentation to ensure orders are complete and accurate.

Package products and components using appropriate materials and methods to protect them during handling and transportation.

Prepare products for shipment according to established shipping schedules and priorities.

Identify missing, damaged, or incorrect components and communicate discrepancies to the appropriate team members.

Use basic hand tools and equipment as required to complete packaging and preparation tasks.

Safely handle and move materials, kits, systems, assemblies,



and finished products throughout the facility using forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required.

Ensure products are properly labelled and documentation is complete and accurate.

Maintain an organized workflow and prioritize tasks to meet daily shipping requirements.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with VMAC standards.

Follow all applicable VMAC policies, procedures, work instructions, and health and safety requirements.

Perform other related duties as required.

What you bring: Secondary school diploma.

Previous experience in a manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, shipping, assembly, or similar environment is considered an asset.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Previous forklift certification or experience operating a forklift is considered an asset.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well as contribute effectively as part of a team.

A positive, dependable, and hands-on approach to work.

Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods and lifting, moving, and handling materials and products.
