Explicit Work is looking for a friendly, outgoing person to help grow our mobile occupational hearing testing service within B.C.'s construction industry.

This is not a traditional office sales job. You'll spend most of your time visiting active construction sites throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, meeting superintendents, safety professionals and other site contacts, and introducing them to Clear Work.

We're more interested in finding someone who is good with people, confident starting conversations and able to build relationships than someone with years of sales experience.

This could be a great opportunity for a student, someone already working part time, or anyone looking for 10–15 flexible weekday hours with additional earning potential.

What You'll Do

Your main goal will be to introduce Clear Work to construction companies and generate opportunities for our mobile hearing testing team.

You'll

- Visit active construction sites throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley
- Introduce Clear Work to superintendents, CSOs, safety managers and other site contacts
- Explain our mobile occupational hearing testing service
- Find out who is responsible for coordinating hearing testing for each project
- Build relationships with construction companies and site teams
- Collect contact information from potential clients
- Leave Clear Work information and marketing materials at sites
- Follow up with contacts by phone or email when appropriate
- Keep easy records of sites visited, contacts made and opportunities generated
- Work with our team to turn those opportunities into booked hearing-testing jobs

There is no residential door-to-door selling. This is business-to-business relationship building within the construction industry. We'll provide training on our services, how to approach construction sites and what to discuss with prospective clients.

Compensation

$25.00 per hour + commission

You'll also earn





$4.50 for every eligible completed hearing test from new accounts you personally generate.

For example, bringing in a construction account that completes 100 hearing tests would mean an additional $450 in commission, on top of your hourly pay.

Full commission details will be provided during the interview process.

Hours & Schedule

- Approximately 10–15 hours per week
- Typically spread across 2–3 weekdays
- Flexible weekday schedule
- Site visits take place during regular construction/site hours
- No regular evening or weekend work
- Anticipated start date: Mid-October 2026
- 90-day probation period

There may be an opportunity for the position and hours to grow as Clear Work continues to expand.

Territory

You'll visit construction sites throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, including areas such as:

Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Surrey, Langley, Maple Ridge, Abbotsford, Mission and Chilliwack.

Who We're Looking For

You do not need previous sales experience.

You may be a good fit if you're:

- Good at starting conversations and building relationships
- Professional and dependable
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Organized with basic follow-up and record keeping
- Comfortable driving between different job sites
- Interested in construction, business, health & safety or sales
- Looking for flexible part-time work where your performance can increase your earnings

Construction, occupational health & safety or sales experience is an asset, but not required. Students are welcome to apply.

Requirements

- Valid B.C. driver's licence
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Comfortable travelling throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley

- Personal cell phone
- CSA-approved work boots
- Availability during weekday construction/site hours
