Enhance resident well-being as a part time Dietary Aide at Extendicare’s FJ Davey Home in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. You will assist with meal preparation and service, ensuring dietary needs are met. Reporting to the Dietary Manager, the Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting cooks in food preparation and serving meals to residents.

Key tasks include maintaining cleanliness in cooking and serving areas and following established policies for quality assurance. A candidate with previous dietary experience, preferably in long-term care, will thrive in this role. Key Responsibilities:

- Serve food according to individual dietary needs
- Assist in preparing straightforward dishes and salads
- Clean and operate kitchen equipment and utensils
- Participate in dietary supply storage and labeling
- Assemble nourishment carts and stock unit kitchens Requirements:
- Completion or enrollment in a Food Handlers Program
- Previous dietary experience preferred (0-1 year)
- Ability to stand for long periods
- English reading and writing skills required
