The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Part-Time (0.40 f.t.e.) Educational Assistant atRed Earth Creek School. This position will commence as soon as possible and continue until June 29, 2027. The successful candidate will be providing one on one support for students.
Red Earth Creek
School is situated in the hamlet of Red Earth Creek, located about 162 kms from Peace River. This school services student in grade K-12 and supports a commitment to academics and various extra-curricular programs.
Qualifications
- Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience and/or training working with student in school setting.
- Ability to work with children with varied ages, skills level, needs and abilities.
Skills
- Willingness to be part of a learning team, take direction and follow programs without direct supervision.
- Willingness to attend training and professional development opportunities on individual learning and complex learning needs.
- Ability to be versatile to the changing classroom environment and individual child needs - Ability to manage and organize programming and keep records.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers.
Requirements

Rate of Pay: $23.27 to $28.86 per hour(dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
