Position Overview The Partner Portal Support Specialist serves as the first line of support and primary point of contact for partners accessing OpenText's new Partner Portal.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving incoming partner inquiries while delivering an excellent partner experience. This includes troubleshooting portal access issues, onboarding new partners, provisioning users and personas, administering partner profiles, processing demo and trial orders, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve partner requests.
The role requires a client-centric, partner-first mindset, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for external Partner Portal inquiries , providing effective support and triage.
- Troubleshoot partner access issues, including login credentials and portal access.
- Support Partner Portal administration , including partner onboarding, provisioning and profile enablement.
- Administer partner contact personas and assist with account and credential setup.
- Manage partner onboarding and ensure partners are successfully provisioned within the portal.
- Serve as a point of contact for Trial and Demo license support inquiries .
- Process Trial and Demo orders to enable partners to successfully demonstrate OpenText products.
- Track Trial and Demo orders through completion, working with cross-functional teams including Deal Desk, Billing and Fulfillment .
- Support provisioning of partner demo environments and related systems.
- Manage the partner inquiry inbox and ensure requests are addressed within established SLA response times .
- Perform case management and follow partner inquiries through to resolution.
- Coordinate with internal and cross-functional teams to resolve partner issues and provide an optimal partner experience.
- Follow documented processes, procedures, governance requirements and best practices.
- Ensure all required reviews, approvals and processes are completed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Partner Portal support processes and overall operational excellence.
- Act as a brand ambassador for OpenText when interacting with partners.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Communications, Technology or a related field .
- Strong client-centric and Partner-First mindset .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Robust work ethic and commitment to delivering a positive partner experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives, inquiries and deliverables simultaneously.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following platforms is preferred:
- Salesforce
- SAP
- ServiceNow
Experience with partner/customer support, portal administration, onboarding, provisioning, case management, order processing, ticket/inbox management or customer operations would be highly relevant.
Important Requirement
Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Waterloo, Ontario, 5 days per week for the duration of the 12-month contract.
