Dilawri Group in Ontario is actively seeking a Parts Manager to join the opening team at Kia Vaughan.

Total Compensation: $60,000–$100,000 annually, inclusive of salary and performance-based bonus.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Parts Manager will be responsible for establishing and leading an efficient, profitable, and customer-focused Parts Department. The successful candidate will oversee departmental operations, inventory control, financial performance, employee development, and relationships with customers, vendors, and the manufacturer.

Responsibilities

- Lead all aspects of the dealership’s Parts Department, including staffing, scheduling, training, performance, and day-to-day operations.
- Help establish the department’s systems, procedures, workflows,



and service standards in preparation for the dealership’s opening.
- Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a knowledgeable and customer-focused parts team.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
- Oversee the ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and return of parts.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing obsolescence, shortages, and unnecessary carrying costs.
- Conduct regular bin checks, inventory reviews, and audits to ensure records are complete and accurate.
- Ensure available storage space is organized, secure, and used effectively.
- Provide exceptional service to internal departments, retail customers, and wholesale customers.
- Assist customers and dealership teams in identifying and sourcing the correct parts.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain strong customer satisfaction results and support overall dealership performance.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturer representatives.
- Negotiate pricing and terms where appropriate to support departmental profitability.
- Monitor departmental performance against established financial and operational targets.
- Maintain appropriate expense controls and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports regarding inventory, sales, expenses, and overall departmental performance.
- Stay informed about automotive industry developments, manufacturer programs, and new products.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, company policies, and all applicable legislation.

Qualifications





- Minimum of three years of automotive parts management experience within a dealership environment.
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Counterperson, or Inventory Clerk is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, inventory management, and dealership operations.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team-development abilities.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing departmental budgets, expenses, and profitability.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to establish effective systems and processes in a new dealership environment.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and evolving workplace.
- Experience working with an automotive manufacturer or OEM is considered an asset.
