About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and ethical Penetration Tester to join their security assessment team. This role involves proactively identifying vulnerabilities in the organization’s systems, networks, and applications through simulated cyber attacks. Working within a hybrid mode, you will contribute to strengthening security defenses by providing detailed reports on findings and actionable recommendations for remediation. This is a crucial position for identifying and mitigating security risks before they can be exploited by malicious actors.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive penetration tests against web applications, networks, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Identify and exploit security vulnerabilities, documenting the impact and potential risks.
- Perform vulnerability scanning and analysis using various security tools.
- Develop detailed reports outlining findings, methodologies, and remediation recommendations.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure timely and effective patching of vulnerabilities.




- Stay current with the latest penetration testing techniques, tools, and threat actor methodologies.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing or offensive security.
- Proficiency with common penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap).
- Solid understanding of web application security, network protocols, and operating systems.
- Experience in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating security tasks.
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, GPEN, or CISSP are highly desirable.
