Hours of Work

Equivalent to8 hours per day, 40hours per week. Please note: The successful applicant will be required to work 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.

Qualifications

- Minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred)
- Valid Fireman's Certificate will be required to obtain within one year of start date
- Valid Driver's License
- Direct experience in the caretaking field would be considered an asset
- Demonstrated understanding of cleaning procedures, cleaning processes, products and equipment is preferred
- General mechanical/plumbing knowledge and aptitude
- Must have the ability to operate tractors, mowers, and equipment efficiently and safely
- Knowledge of computers and applicable software




- Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
- Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone School Division

Salary & Benefits

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated SEIU-West Collective Agreement as listed on our website The starting wage for this position is currently $24.14/hour along with a full benefit package and an employer defined pension plan.
