School for the Deaf seeks two dedicated educators for an enriching opportunity. You will have the chance to create and adapt lesson plans tailored for Deaf students while fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning experience. Ideal candidates will thrive in a caring community committed to excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Deaf students in an elementary academic program
- Develop and modify lesson plans for diverse learning needs
- Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Manage classrooms using effective behavioral strategies
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team for student success Requirements:
- Valid Ontario College of Teachers’ certificate
- Specialization in Deaf education or current pathway for it
- Experience with Deaf/hard of hearing students
- Strong English and ASL communication skills
- Ability to work with multiple exceptionalities Utilize your Deaf education expertise to inspire and support students at Ernest C.
