Pay or shift range: $98,600 CAD to $147,900 CAD The expected salary range for this role is intended to support transparency and informed decision making. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience and internal equity.

Are you passionate about underground mine planning and optimization? If you are an experienced mining engineer who excels in mid-range planning, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination, we want you on our team. As the Mine Engineer – Short Term Planning , reporting to the Senior Production Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining,



and optimizing the short term mine plan for the Island Gold Mine.

Working closely with operations, engineering and geology teams, you will deliver practical and executable plans that support short-term performance.

Mine Planning: Lead the development of 7/21 schedules, mine plans, and production forecasts that support operational execution and corporate objectives. Integrate infrastructure, construction, and maintenance requirements into the short‑range plan and ensure alignment between short‑range, mid‑range, and long‑range mine plans.

Collaboration & Technical Support: Work closely with operations, geology, and engineering teams to ensure compliance with the mine plan and provide technical support to operations, construction, and technical services.

Analysis & Optimization: Conduct scenario analysis and trade‑off studies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of the mine plan. Contribute to monthly reporting, variance analysis, and budgeting activities. Provide guidance to junior engineers & EITs, surveyors, and drill and blast planners, and support senior engineers through active participation in site‑wide initiatives.

Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering. ~3–5 years of underground mining experience, including prior experience in an underground mine planning role. ~ High proficiency in Deswik mine planning and scheduling software or equivalent tools.

Salary Range: $98,600-$147,900 CAD Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
