The Plant Protection
Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing a dedicated security team while training and mentoring Plant Protection Officers. Reporting to the Health and Safety Superintendent, you'll enhance security protocols, manage access controls, and support emergency operations. Your leadership will safeguard the newly returning workforce in a crucial phase of operation. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support Plant Protection Officers in daily operations
- Develop and improve site security policies and SOPs
- Conduct threat assessments and identify security vulnerabilities
- Oversee controlled area security requirements and audits
- Manage incident reporting and ensure compliance with regulations Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in a similar leadership role
- Valid Nova Scotia driver’s license with insurable record
- Certified in First Aid/CPR and eligible for Guard License
- Familiar with health and safety legislation
