You will develop acquisition methods for the 9.4 T Bruker MRI system while collaborating closely with MR Unit teams and external partners. The position requires a proactive approach to staying updated with the latest advancements in MRI technology. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute operations of preclinical MRI systems at BIC
- Develop and optimize new MRI techniques and tools
- Maintain collaborations with imaging manufacturers
- Support translational research between animal and human studies
- Mentor graduate students on MRI and PET protocols
Requirements:
- Experience in MRI imaging and coding
- Familiarity with PET imaging methods is a plus
- Strong animal handling skills for NHP imaging
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work in Quebec and authorized for Canada
