Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to accurately bend and form sheet metal components according to precise specifications. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality production, ensuring that each piece meets strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring correct tooling and machine calibration for each job
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine bending specifications
- Use hand tools, calipers, and measuring devices to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy throughout the process
- Program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) press brakes for complex bending tasks, optimizing efficiency and precision
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including checking for wear and troubleshooting issues promptly
- Conduct quality inspections on finished parts, ensuring they meet design specifications and tolerances
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes when necessary, supporting overall production flow





Skills

- Proficiency in operating press brake machines with a strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with CNC programming and CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, and CNC lathe operations is highly desirable
- Knowledge of welding techniques and basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings effectively
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, and other measurement instruments for quality control
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes such as CNC programming, milling, turning, and sheet metal fabrication
- Certification or experience in crane operation and forklift driving is a plus
- Understanding of manufacturing standards, quality inspection procedures, and safety protocols
