Levitate Foods is a GTA-based startup making Canada's only lupin-based tempeh — a soy-free alternative made with lupin beans and hemp seed that's changing how people think about plant protein. We're a small, scrappy team (right now, just our founder!) gearing up for our retail launch, and we're looking for someone who wants real startup experience across production and sales.

What you'll do:

- Support hands-on tempeh production at our rental kitchen in Guelph (roughly every few weeks, not full time kitchen work)
- Get out into the Greater Toronto Area and pitch our product directly to grocery stores — door-to-door retail sales, building relationships with store owners and buyers
- Take on whatever the week needs — this is an early-stage company and the role will flex

Who you are:

- Strong people skills — comfortable walking into a store cold and making a great first impression




- Excited by startup life and willing to wear a lot of hats
- Based in or able to travel between the GTA and Guelph; own transportation is an asset
- Food handler's certification is a plus (not required — we'll help you get one if needed)

Details:

- ~20 hours/week
- October 2026 - March 2027 (6-month term), with 2 weeks off over the Christmas holidays
- $20/hour
- This position is funded in part through Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's Youth Employment and Skills Program — candidates must be between 15-30 years old, unemployed or underemployed, and a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person (not currently on EI)
