Battlefords Residential Services Inc. (BRSI) is a community-based nonprofit organization supporting adults with intellectual and physical disabilities in the Battlefords. Through our group homes, supported living services and community day program, our team works to help the people we support live meaningful, inclusive lives in their community.

We are looking for an experienced disability services professional and people leader to join our management team as Program Coordinator.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who understands the realities of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and is ready to take the next step into a leadership role — or an experienced supervisor or manager within the disability/community services sector looking for a new opportunity.

What you'll do The Program Coordinator provides leadership and oversight to ensure the people supported by BRSI receive high-quality, person-centred services.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Group Home Managers and Direct Support Workers, you will:

- Provide leadership, guidance, coaching and support to managers and frontline staff.
- Oversee the development, implementation and review of person-centred plans and client programming.
- Help develop and monitor Behaviour Support Plans and strategies for individuals with complex support needs.
- Support teams in responding to behavioural, developmental, medical and social needs.
- Monitor service quality and ensure client documentation and support plans accurately reflect current needs.
- Work collaboratively with families, advocates, social workers, health-care professionals and other community partners.
- Participate in client admissions, transitions and service planning.
- Help identify staff training needs and provide or coordinate training.
- Participate in hiring, orientation,

performance management and employee development.
- Support managers and staff in resolving challenging situations and making sound, person-centred decisions.
- Participate in BRSI's management on-call rotation.

Who we're looking for Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities and understands what quality support looks like in a residential or community setting.

You may currently be working as a Program Coordinator, Residential Supervisor, Group Home Manager, Team Leader, Senior Direct Support Worker, Community Support Supervisor, Behavioural Support Worker, or in a similar disability-services leadership role.

You should bring

- Approximately 2–5 years of experience supporting adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Previous leadership, supervisory or senior team experience in disability, residential, community or human services.
- Experience with person-centred planning and supporting individuals with behavioural, developmental and/or complex needs.
- The ability to coach staff, address performance concerns and provide clear direction.
- Strong judgement and problem-solving skills, particularly when responding to challenging or unexpected situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative, respectful leadership style and a genuine commitment to dignity, choice and inclusion.

A Disability Support Worker Certificate or related post-secondary education is preferred. An equivalent combination of relevant education, training and substantial sector experience will also be considered. Additional requirements The successful candidate must:

- Hold a valid Saskatchewan driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment.
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Be able to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency situations when required.

Why BRSI? This is an opportunity to move beyond simply managing schedules and day-to-day tasks. The Program Coordinator has a meaningful role in shaping how support is delivered across the organization.

You'll work alongside an experienced management team, support staff in developing their skills, help solve complex client-support challenges, and have a direct influence on the quality of life of the people BRSI supports.

If you have built your career in disability services and are ready for a role where your sector knowledge, leadership and judgement can make a difference, we'd like to hear from you.

Please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and your previous leadership or supervisory experience.
