Role Description The Program Manager will oversee multiple automation projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer requirements. This part-time, remote role involves planning project scopes and schedules, coordinating engineering and software development activities, and managing communication with internal teams and clients.

The Program

Manager will track progress, manage risks and dependencies, monitor budgets and resources, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Day-to-day tasks include organizing virtual meetings, preparing status reports and documentation, supporting continuous improvement of project processes, and collaborating with technical leads to resolve issues. The role also involves contributing to proposal development and helping prioritize the project portfolio in line with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong program and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience in industrial automation,



preferably with Siemens PLCs, HMIs, drives, SCADA systems, and control panel projects.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in engineering, software development, commissioning, and service support.
- Proficiency with project management tools and documentation, and comfort working in a remote, part-time setting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, automation, or a related field; equivalent experience in program management within industrial automation is also valued.
- Previous experience managing multiple concurrent projects and familiarity with structured methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile) is an advantage.
