Overview

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager to join our growing plumbing and mechanical team.

This position is ideal for someone looking to develop their project management experience while working closely with Project Managers, field supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, building managers, general contractors, and clients.

The successful candidate will assist with the coordination of plumbing and mechanical projects from initial planning through completion, helping ensure projects remain organized, properly documented, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of plumbing and mechanical projects.
- Review project specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, work plans, and internal tracking documents.
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and material deliveries.
- Assist with estimating, pricing, takeoffs, change orders, and project costing.
- Prepare professional scopes of work, proposals, purchase orders, and project documentation.
- Request and track material pricing and lead times from suppliers.
- Coordinate building shutdowns, site access, inspections, and project scheduling with clients and building management.
- Maintain organized project files, including drawings, RFIs, change orders, site documentation, photos, and correspondence.
- Track project progress, labour hours, material costs, and outstanding items.
- Assist with project billing and ensure completed work is properly documented for invoicing.
- Attend site meetings and perform site visits as required.
- Communicate with field staff regarding project requirements, scheduling,



materials, and site conditions.
- Identify potential scheduling, material, or site issues and communicate them to the Project Manager.
- Assist with project closeout, deficiency lists, commissioning documentation, and turnover packages.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, consultants, contractors, property managers, and other project stakeholders.
- Support the service and project teams with day-to-day operational requirements as needed.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, plumbing, mechanical contracting, project coordination, estimating, or project management is an asset.
- Plumbing or mechanical industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating with tradespeople, customers, suppliers, building managers, and contractors.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and general project-management software.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow projects through to completion.




- Valid BC driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites throughout the Lower Mainland.

Pay: $46,076.53-$86,348.36 per year
