Job Overview

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Vancouver office. This position will work closely with Project Managers, clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to support accurate and efficient project planning and execution.

Westport Manufacturing was founded in 1947 and is Canada’s largest manufacturer of custom window coverings for the hospitality, health care, and construction industries. We also provide Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E;), as well as wholesale products such as towels and linens through Chung Chun.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily project activities and follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Assist Project Managers with project planning, takeoffs, check measures and installations, scheduling, and project tracking.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Follow up on outstanding items to ensure deadlines and project requirements are met.
- Coordinate purchasing, deliveries, materials, and installations.
- Maintain accurate project files, records, and documentation.
- Prepare quotes for small construction bids.




- Assist with general administrative and project-related tasks as required.

Qualifications

- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, administration, operations, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s licence, as occasional travel to job sites and client meetings may be required.

Employment Details Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
