About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee our complex metal and steel structure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires a proactive approach to managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that all phases from design to installation are completed on schedule and within scope.
The Project
Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, facilitating clear communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in structural steel and wrought metals, and fluency in both French and English to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant experience in managing structural steel and/or wrought metals projects.
- Fluency in both French and English, oral and written, to facilitate seamless communication across diverse teams and clients.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets.
Responsibilities The Project Manager will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
- Realization of complex metal and steel structure projects, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
- Planning and monitoring the project schedule, including drawings, provisioning, manufacturing, installation, and subcontracting activities.
- Providing technical assistance to specialized draftsmen and engineers to ensure project accuracy and feasibility.
- Conducting site measurements and coordinating with other subcontractors and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Monitoring project budgets to ensure financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
- Managing contract amendments and ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Following up on project invoicing and financial documentation to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Overseeing project closure, including final inspections, documentation, and client handover.
