Job Title: Project Manager/Leader - Senior

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Work Model: Hybrid

Duration: 6 months

Extension: 1 Time

- Clinical Workflow and Process Improvement: Strong understanding of clinical workflows, documentation practices, administrative burden challenges, and opportunities for workflow optimization.

Description / Responsibilities / Skills

Description

- Plan, coordinate, and deliver initiatives that support the Patients Before Paperwork (Pb4P) Program.
- Role sits at intersection of project management, clinical operations, digital health transformation, and change management.
- Advance large-scale provincial digital health initiatives supporting workflow modernization and clinician experience improvements.
- Managing programmatic activities including project governance, risk and issue management, dependency coordination, benefits realization.

Responsibilities

- Provide program management guidance of large scale, highly complex, high profile and high-risk initiatives that may be multi-jurisdictional.
- Ensure programs are delivered cost effectively and in compliance with organization's methodologies, standards and frameworks.

Desired Skills

- Program Governance and Performance Measurement: Experience establishing governance structures, monitoring project performance, tracking benefits realization, and reporting outcomes.

Required Skills

- Digital Health Knowledge: Understanding of EMRs, clinical documentation solutions, workflow automation, interoperability, and healthcare technology adoption.

- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess complex issues, identify risks and dependencies, analyze data, and recommend practical solutions.
- Program Governance and Performance Measurement: Experience establishing governance structures, monitoring project performance, tracking benefits realization, and reporting outcomes to senior leadership.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively across diverse teams, portfolios, and regions in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of primary care and referral systems across Ontario
- Strategic Project Leadership: Proven ability to coordinate and support complex projects from initiation through implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.




- Digital Health Knowledge: Understanding of electronic medical records (EMRs), clinical documentation solutions, workflow automation, interoperability, and healthcare technology adoption.

Required Experience

- Project Management (PM) experience: Strong PM experience especially handling large, complex projects
- Healthcare experience: Strong understanding of healthcare systems, particularly referral process
- Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, clinical champions and peers
- Relationship management: Experience with managing relationships with multiple partners in both internal and external organizations

Responsibilities

- Provide program management guidance and expertise of large scale, highly complex, high profile and high-risk initiatives that may be multi-jurisdictional and/or enterprise-wide.
- Ensure accountability for the program's centralized group of projects and their successful full life cycle delivery.
- Ensure programs are delivered cost effectively and efficiently, and in compliance with organization's methodologies, standards and frameworks.

Deliverables

- Coordinate and manage provincial clinical workflow and documentation transformation initiatives
- Drive clinical adoption, change management, and engagement activities to ensure successful implementation and sustained use of solutions.
- Manage complex program delivery, dependencies, risks, and external partnerships across multiple healthcare stakeholders.
- Develop performance measurement and benefits realization frameworks to monitor outcomes and support continuous improvement.
