We are seeking a compassionate, energetic Punjabi/Hindi-speaking Health Care Aide to join our dedicated team serving the SW/Rocky View County community.

In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. We prioritize individuals who can commute easily and have their own mode of transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
- Support medication administration according to care plans, ensuring safety and accuracy at all times.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering positive relationships and reducing feelings of loneliness.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques,



including heavy lifting when necessary, to prevent injury for clients and caregivers alike.
- Document care activities accurately in client records and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team promptly.

Skills

- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a focus on senior or hospice care.
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to individuals with dementia or disabilities.
- Knowledge of medication administration, meal preparation, and basic nursing procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of caregiving tasks.
- Excellent communication skills in Punjabi or Hindi, with the ability to connect effectively with diverse clients.
- Experience working with individuals requiring dementia or hospice care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with home care services, caregiving routines, cleaning protocols, and safety standards.
