As a Cost Manager working within the Project Management team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a key role in contributing to the financial control and success of major construction projects. Supporting large-scale building and infrastructure projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion, you will analyze, develop, and manage budgets while helping project teams make sound financial and business decisions. This role will be based in Halifax, NS with occasional travel to projects in Moncton, NB and Sydney, NS.

Organize and supervise the cost control team on major projects, including task allocation and team development Ensure the application of Major Project Management methods and recommend improvements Collaborate closely with Construction, Procurement, and Contracts teams Perform in-depth analysis of project performance (progress, entitlements, quantities, key ratios, etc.)



Budget recalibration- Strategic contract management- Overhead cost control- Management of contractual penalties and variances- Manage cost contingencies across:

- Align cost forecasts (CBS) with project schedules (Primavera P6 WBS) Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, or a related field ~Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) ~ Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) ~ Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) ~ Additional Assets Experience in the construction industry Knowledge of systems such as:
- SAP- CMiC- Procore Other enterprise financial and cost control systems Familiarity with project controls platforms such as:
