Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision tools.
- Perform detailed quality control checks at various stages of manufacturing to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Collect, record, and analyze data related to product quality, process performance, and inspection results to support ongoing quality assurance efforts.
- Utilize analysis skills to identify root causes of quality issues and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, non-conformance reports, and compliance records in accordance with company standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on process deficiencies and suggesting enhancements to quality management systems.
- Assist in training team members on proper inspection techniques, quality standards, and the use of measurement tools like calipers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on quality management or quality control.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or issues effectively.
- Familiarity with quality inspection methods, QA/QC procedures, and standard measurement tools.
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and experience implementing or supporting quality management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills for meticulous data collection and record keeping.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and product specifications is preferred.
