Join American Iron & Metal as a Quality Inspector in the metal recycling industry. Ensure material quality and compliance with specifications in a dynamic, team-focused setting. As part of the Ferrous team, you'll work in a full-time permanent role with rotating shifts from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

This position requires strong attention to detail and knowledge of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. You will inspect materials, coordinate movement within the yard, and communicate quality issues effectively daily. Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality issues
- Ensure compliance with company and customer specifications
- Coordinate sorting and handling of yard materials
- Conduct daily quality and site checks efficiently
- Direct truck movements to safe locations

Requirements:

- Experience in materials inspection preferred
- Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals
- Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects regularly
- Proficient in data entry and record keeping
