What you'll actually do
· Partner with our Quantitative Research & Investments team to solve real problems
· Build custom technology and analytics that power live quant investment decisions
· Productionalize and support quantitative models in Python & MATLAB — following engineering best practices (testing, automation, peer code reviews)
Must have skills
· Robust Python & pandas for data analysis
· Solid SQL skills (and comfort with — or eagerness to learn — MATLAB)
· Sharp math/stats chops and some experience with financial data
· Bonus points for asset management/quant investing exposure, Databricks, or Tableau
