- Define mechanical requirements, project boundaries, and engineering deliverables throughout project development and execution phases - Review and validate drawings, technical specifications, equipment lists, and engineering documentation - Coordinate technical activities with engineering firms, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders - Contribute to feasibility studies, option analyses, preliminary estimates, schedules, and technical recommendations - Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, risk assessments, and progress monitoring - Identify technical issues, recommend practical solutions, and elevate complex decisions when required - Support development and execution of capital projects involving moderately complex mechanical scopes - Provide on-site support and maintain a strong operational presence through regular travel to plants across the Northeast region - Report to the Regional Capital Projects Engineering Manager Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification that provides a strong technical foundation - Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, industrial projects, maintenance, or reliability - Experience supporting capital project development processes, preferably within FEL or capital project environments - Ability to interpret, review, and validate technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation - Solid collaboration and communication skills demonstrated through work with operations, maintenance,
