Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our multidisciplinary team and help us expand our in-home health and wellness services.

This is a community-based position providing massage therapy directly in clients’ homes, making treatment more accessible and convenient for individuals who may have difficulty travelling to a clinic or simply prefer receiving care in the comfort of their own home. Based on the need, could be expanded to a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

- Conducting client assessments and developing appropriate treatment plans
- Providing therapeutic massage treatments in clients’ homes
- Supporting pain management, mobility, relaxation and overall well-being
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicating with CHP’s healthcare team when appropriate to support coordinated care
- Maintaining professional, ethical and infection-control standards
- Educating clients regarding appropriate home-care strategies and follow-up treatment

Skills





- Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently in community and home-care settings
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check, or willingness to obtain one
- CPR/First Aid certification is considered an asset
- Experience working with older adults, rehabilitation, chronic pain, home-care, or pre-natal clients is an asset, but not required

Pay: $70.00-$90.00 per hour Expected hours: 3.0 – 20.0 per week
