- Massage Therapy / Therapeutic Massage Experience - 2 years to less than 3 years In office Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work Setting - Private practice Responsibilities Duties - Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations.
- Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients.
- Maintain accurate treatment records.
- Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body.
- Suggest home care instructions and provide information about therapeutic techniques.
Credentials Required
Certification - Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
