Become a Registered Nurse in the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Unit at North Bay Regional Health Centre. The Child & Adolescent Mental Health Unit is a six-bed crisis unit focusing on brief admissions for children and adolescents facing reliable mental health challenges.

This position requires a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in acute care, particularly with pediatric patients, and a strong commitment to Family Centered Care. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while integrating community support systems. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing care in a crisis unit setting
- Conduct Mental Status Exams and manage crises effectively




- Lead health education for individuals and groups
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
- Develop plans for suicide safety for pediatric patients

Requirements:

- Current Certificate of Registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum 1-2 years mental health experience required
- BLS Certification within the past year
- Advanced English/French bilingualism preferred
- Knowledge of mental health acts and regulations
