Qualifications

Position Summary

- Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse; familiarity with the PACT (ACTT) Model
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a mental health setting providing assessment, treatment, consultation, and education to a similar adult target population;

experience in community-based/community outreach service delivery preferred

- Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of psychiatric medications
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Mental Health Act and emerging clinical trends and evidence-based best practice




- Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and oral/written communication skills
- Demonstrated willingness to act as an educational and clinical resource to team members, students, clients and community agencies
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and a willingness to travel is required.
- Willingness and ability to work weekends and evenings as required, with flexibility to adjust hours and schedules based on operational needs
- For the RN position, preference will be given to candidates with University Degree preparation
- Demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality, availability and performance required
