The Intensive Care

Unit at Joseph Brant Hospital is an innovative and rapidly changing environment providing quality care based on the latest guidelines and best practices aligned with the Critical Care Services Ontario (CCSO) strategy. We are seeking individuals who possess excellent communication skills, and are strong advocates for patient and family centered care.



The successful candidate will be joining a very dynamic inter professional team that fosters collaboration and service excellence.

Current

Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse Successful completion of a Critical Care Certificate is required (or currently enrolled, with completion required within one year of start date); A minimum of two (2) years of recent Medical/Surgical experience is required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Critical Care setting is considered an asset; preference will be given to candidates with current Critical Care nursing experience.

Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) is considered an asset. Must be comfortable with clinical equipment, including monitors, infusion pumps, ECG machines, phlebotomy, invasive pressure monitoring, ventilators.
