We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, flexibility, and pain levels.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations and patient goals.
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote healing and functional recovery.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, self-care techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists,
and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist with the college of physiotherapist of Ontario.
- Proven experience working in hospital settings with exposure to acute care environments.
- Experience caring for pediatric patients and managing diverse patient populations.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centered care with empathy and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced clinical environments while maintaining attention to detail.
