Duties

- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care
- Collect and process laboratory samples, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret results to aid in accurate diagnoses
- Prepare animals for procedures, administer medications, and monitor patient recovery with compassion and professionalism
- Maintain detailed medical records, update patient charts, and ensure compliance with clinic protocols
- Provide client education on animal health, nutrition, and preventive care to promote responsible pet ownership




- Manage inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to ensure readiness for all procedures
- Support laboratory testing efforts by performing routine tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal examinations

Requirements

- Valid license or certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician in accordance with state or national regulations
- Proven laboratory experience with familiarity in conducting diagnostic tests and handling samples
- Strong understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and educate clients
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Demonstrated attention to detail in record keeping and procedural accuracy
- A compassionate attitude combined with energetic enthusiasm for animal care
