Role Description The Research Analyst (part time, remote) will support the Get 2 Vet Podcast and Community by conducting research that informs episodes, community discussions, and resource development. Day-to-day tasks include gathering data and insights on veteran transition topics, employment trends, and market opportunities, and synthesizing findings into concise briefs and recommendations for hosts and content creators. The role will involve preparing background materials for guest interviews, identifying relevant statistics and case studies, and monitoring policy and program changes affecting veterans and service members.

The Research

Analyst will collaborate with the team to refine research questions, contribute to episode outlines, and present findings in clear, accessible formats that align with the mission of the community.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Statistics to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.




- Candidates should possess solid Research and Market Research skills to identify relevant information, trends, and sources related to veteran transition and employment.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present complex findings clearly in written summaries and verbal discussions.
- Candidates should ideally have familiarity with veteran or military transition issues, workforce development, or career counseling.
- Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Candidates with experience in social science research, data analysis tools, podcast or media support, or a related academic background (e.g., Economics, Sociology, Public Policy, Business, or similar fields) are preferred.
