We are currently looking for a dedicated Resident Heavy Duty Mechanic who will be responsible for the field maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a variety of Caterpillar equipment, based in the Medicine Hat area. Interact with customers, product and sales support, and the rest of the Finning team.

Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily Complete technical documentation and reports.

Qualifications:



Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification Valid driver's license with a successful recent driver's abstract* Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail* Completion, or in the process of completing all Finning S- level courses* Self-motivated and computer literate* Experience with Costwatcher, DBS, SIS and Warranty Systems as well as a positive understanding of Finning systems, would all be assets* Successful candidate will need to be customer orientated and motivated to meet the customer's expectations* Minimum of 5 years’ experience repairing CAT equipmentNote: This position will work a Monday to Friday day shift* Shift work may be required in the future* Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement* Hours and shift schedules that may be subject to change to meet Finning or customer requirements, and will be made in accordance with the Collective Agreement* Please be advised, the successful candidate for this position will reside in the Medicine Hat area.### **This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay.
