Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will ensure roofs are durable, weather-resistant, and built to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

- Measure and cut roofing materials accurately using hand tools and blueprint specifications
- Install roofing systems including shingles, metal panels, tiles, or flat roofs with precision and attention to detail
- Repair or replace damaged roofing components to extend the lifespan of existing structures
- Use caulking and sealing techniques to ensure watertight joints and prevent leaks
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, plywood, or metal sheets safely and efficiently
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine project scope and material requirements




- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during all phases of roofing projects

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools essential for roofing tasks such as hammers, saws, drills, and trowels
- Construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades is highly desirable
- Strong carpentry skills for framing, sheathing, and other structural work involved in roofing projects
- Ability to apply caulking accurately for sealing joints and preventing water intrusion
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights in various weather conditions
- Competence in reading blueprints and technical plans to execute projects correctly
- Handyman experience that demonstrates versatility in construction-related tasks
